I broke my turbo. Please help! N/A SUCKS!
ok .. so I've driving home from work this morning ... pushing 9 1/2 psi (and loving it). I go through a rough intersection and BAM! no more boost, NONE. So I think to myself "this is what happened when my actuator arm came loose, no problem".
At the next set of long lights, I pop the hood, climb out, and check the arm ... still on there.... ----. I drive home (boostless :( ), and when I get home, I check to make sure there's no leaks in vaccum or charge piping lines. All good. I next check to make sure the inside of the charge piping lines are ok. Clean as a whistle. As my favorite last resort, I hop on HMT and do a search. I find suggestions to do what I already did, but nothing more... check the shaft play on your turbo? i know there is no oil in the charge pipes though... maybe the turbo siezed... lost oil pressure and siezed up?

I know how u feel same thing happened to me i took the turbo apart the shaft on the turbine broke off no boost :'(

before i assume the shaft broke...
anyone else have another idea? the turbine spins fine, oil return line is flowing, it does suck a minimum amout of air when the intake piping is off... |

that sucks i guess racing is out tonight then...lucky you i just got my turbo back up and running yesterday...just jokin...are you workin on it today at all??

did you check the shaft? sometimes they snap.
