Well a buddy of mine on dsmtuners was nice enough to share his results after switching from his garrett gt3076r to a holset hx40 in the bep t3 housing. Ill let the pics do the explaining.

You going to find you a 7 blade compressor wheel, or rock the 8 and see how it does.

 

i rocked the 8blade on my automatic talon. spool was seen around 4600 on a pretty much stock car. I'm in the process of getting rid of my dsm and building an ef or something. I would love to find the billet wheel for it. The hx40 didnt blow up the car he let off cause the car was moving around on the dyno. Still it seems like the hx40 spools around the same mark as the 3076r
