Default HUGE TRANNY PROBLEM!! Big Trouble? What Could It Be?

I think I just found a huge problem in my build and I wanna cry

I pretty much built a motor from scratch, my first ever top to bottom. Its a D16A6 in an 88 Crx Si

Ive got pretty much everything buttoned up and installe din the car, today I was finishing up and I connected the clutch cable to the tranny and tightenned down the plastic nut.

I pulled up on the lever that it attaches to and it goes up without anyforce being needed, just barely have to touch it and the lever raises. I pushed it up hard a few times continuously and you can hear it ting off of something, sounds like the little clutch fingers...............

I jumped in the car and sure enough there was ZERO pedal pressure.

Im actually really sad now cause i thought everything was going great and I find this at the worst possible time.

The clutch is a clutch specialties 6 puck unsprung, cable transmission.

I really need help as to what it could be and what I have to do to fix it. I really dont want to have to pull the motor, my parents would freak and I need the car asap.

Someone Please HELP!

OK

SO I just went out to the garage and found a spare d16 tranny I have, I got the bolt you say i need

But when you remove that bolt and push up on the cable lever it just spinsinside the tranny andthe throwout bearing doesnt move, why woud I be hearing a spring type clink when I pul the lever up quickly and let it hit whatever it is hitting, to me it sounds like a noice the little presure fingers would make when hit, but i dunno

I need help!!

if that screw is not in there, it will not move the TO bearing, ***** just spinning, who cares about the tinking noise, if you dont have that bolt in there, its not going to work!!!!!

that noise is probably the lever spinning around inside the spring, just take the damn tranny off and bolt that ---- up and you'll be good to ------- go

Everything was flush though, clutch disk against the flywheel and pressure plate against the clutch disk

Would this cause what im syaing?

Cause Im pretty sure when I installed the throwout bearing with teh tranny out I moved the lever a couple times to make sure it was smooth and I remember it coming out easily

I really dont think its the bolt

What could it be

I want it running by saturdcay afternoon

thats the only possible thing that could go wrong, if you forget the bolt its not going to work, if you dont pull the tranny, this ---- will not be running tomorrow. i suggest you pull the tranny, why would you come and ask a question, and when people give you an answer you dont want to do it.
