How much to spend to make manifold?
I'm gonna make my own manifold now, so do I use 1 1/4" weld els or 1 1/2"weld els? I just checked on pricing and it's a little more than I expected. $15 ea. for the T's and $7.50 ea. for the 90's. Is this a good price or expensive? $45 is more than I really wanted to pay for it, b/c by the time I get my flanges, total cost is gonna be like $95, and then I'm going to pay someone tig weld it together. that sucks.

Re:1 1/4 or 1 1/2 schedule 40 for making mani?
Is that in Stainless? if so that's not bad. If it is mild steel, that's a ripoff. Weld El's are $4 and T's are $10. It cost me $60 for all the parts for my manifold, but I'm using 4 elbows and no T's. Like the BMC manifolds. Then you just need a 5" section of straight pipe.

I found another place that sells the 90s for $4.50 and the T's for $11.75 ea. and no, it's Mild steel. The welding place JUST called and said it would be $60 to tig/helio weld it together, sounds kinda high! How did you get away with only having $60 into it, it's gonna cost me $50 in just flanges, the head flange-$30 and turbo $20.

I just went to a local machine shop and am having them make a t25 flange and they are only charging me $10!, too sweet. I'm gonna take off my exhaust manifold and take that down to them and have them make up one of those too, probably not any more than $20-25. so it might only cost me $128.
