just made my mbc/bleedervalve and turned up my boost 2 more psi to 8psi. still runs safely rich and no detonation with my 6psi settings on my safc hack. how much psi can i safely crank it up on my tdo4L and d16y7? setup is obd2 d16y7, tdo4L off '02 wrx, 450cc dsm/resistor box, safc, msd btm -.33degree/lb, starion fmic. i want to crank it to 10psi to be closer to 200whp, but i don't know if the stock rods/pistons/cylinders will take it. i knew that this would happen-turbocharge then want more.

what does everyone think on the stock internals? 10psi safe, or should i stick with 6-8psi? (i will take it to the dyno and tune to 8-10psi).

 

10psi is pretty manageable on a d-series.. just need to take it to the dyno with wideband o2 support to get that A/F dead on, and you will be fine.
