Default how much power would I expect with this setup?

STOCK d15b7, 14b, rx7 intercooler,
450cc dsm's, SMC+, also might add something to retard ignition per boost once things are runing smoothly.
Untuned, well un-dynotuned, maybe street tuning to the best of my abilities.

and 8-10psi

I ask because I want to keep my engine alive,
so I dont want to push it.
I think I can safely run 10psi with that fuel setup,
so i'm not afraid of that aspect,
i'm more afraid of "overpowering" my engine, even if its got the fuel it needs at say. 9psi.. if Its putting down like 210whp or something, I dont really think the engine is going to handle that for long.

So basically i'm trying to figure out whats the max boost I might be able to run before I end up putting out too much power..

I know you guys arent psychic, but maybe you can give me an idea? (plz dont just say "dyno it" heh).

yeah i have the same setup almost... at 14.7 psi your hp would double right? so for me at 8 i would say in a 100 whp id say 50hp increase, but with no ignition timing and not dyno tuned...140

aah I see,

hmm, so is that the meaning of usual outcome of bar?
at 1 bar your hp doubles or something?

so then theoretically I COULD run 10psi on this motor?
maybe i'll start off at 7-8psi(once i make sure everything is running right), then go up to 10 when I get something to retard timing.

and if I can i'll definetely tune it.

not entirely...running ten pounds on a honda motor is pushing it a little. with race fuel once in a while would be ok but for daily driving its a little riskey; until more upgrades to the motor has been installed

I see lots of people running 10+ PSI daily driven on a stock motor without problems.

A badly tuned engine at 6 psi is a lot more prone to give you problems then one a 10 tuned on a dyno. Do yourself a favor and put some money aside for some dyno time. Youll have a higher power AND more reliable setup in the end. Just my 2 cents.

d15bs can do 170 stock internals.

if u get a d15bvtec, what i have, u can go 10psi and do 190-200whp

If u can find a d15bvtec for cheap get that instead of turboing, trust me its pretty fast(1.5l 130hp VTEC).
Only thing is its impossible to find aftermarket internals for it(they have bigger rods than usdm 1.5l but smaller than d16s)
