how much hp can d-series sleeve hold? sorry i forgot
post the block
i've seen people do 300whp daily with a posted block.
i'm going to post my block; use d16a1 rods (as beefy as ls rods) and vitara pistons and run about 15psi on pump gas (low c/r) tuned of course

and you dont need to sleeve it if you tune well. like it was said before, detonation kills sleeves, and shitty tuning causes detonation. That and 87 octane.
Posting isn't a bad idea if you want a little something extra to give you peace of mind. In the near future I plan on doing a 300-350whp build with forged internals on the stock sleeving of a d16y7 (96-00 DX) block with my jdm d15b vtec head since its basically a z6 head except for that spiffy camshaft.
hah eji im running that setup now.
00 y7 block stok bore
srp 9:1 pistons
crower rodsported oil pump
y8 head

back on topic, i know my y7 block/d15b(z6) head is basically a mini-me, so I am all wondering about the comp ratio resulting, cause most mini-me's result in a high comp ratio, what srp's are you using? got the part number by chance?
