How much boost on stock fuel pump?
Hallo,
i have a problem with my fuel supply and i'am not sure if it is the additional fuel pump. So my plan was to put the second pump out of the car and so a testdrive with the stock pump only.
now my question, whats the hp/boost/volume limit of the stock fuelpump
of a 91' CRX EE8 B16A1 Engine
currently i have 280ccm Injectors installed, Fuelpressure is stock and run 8psi of boost.

you can run 450s inj. on the stock pump for a while but it's gonna wear out a whole lot sooner than a walboro 255
and when your stock pump starts to wear out, guess what? it
the Atkins diet for your air/fuel ratio. your car will be running leaner and leaner as the fuel pump wears out. then
if you're lucky, one day when you go start your car it won't start and you find that it's the overworked stock pump. if you're unlucky then it'll go while you're making a wild run at 8-10psi and KABOOM! bye, bye, ring lands-connecting rods. wish you the best of luck. walboro pumps are $89.00 on ebay. don't run it with the stock pump for more than 1 months, just a suggestion.
