The sense in that is make due with what you have...be unique, stick with the auto. LevelTen makes some cool stuff for the autos, who knows, maybe ask them about some kind of a sponsorship.

IMHO, I'd use the automatic till it breaks, then switch over to a manual tranny when it needs to be replaced anyways. Less wasted power.

and be stranded and have to pay a tow truck? not my idea of fun, ive had a few of those days, they suck!

just dont brake torque it for very long or under too much throttle... thats auto tranny death. Also run a huge tranny cooler, you should be ok depending on the amount of power and abuse you give it.

Tranny cooler sounds like a great idea. To tell you the truth its probably a better idea to just go to the junkyard and pick up a manual though. Do with what you got and make it work buddy.

better than using a transmission cooler you can get it a little cooler which you might need with an a/c cooler thingy they are waay larger with about the same flow.

I dunno, I'm all about breaking the stock stuff then replacing it with something bigger and better, then I can say with certainty what the stock stuff can handle, and what it can't.
