Front mount intercooler 30long x 6high x 2wide
2 1/2 inch piping
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Denso Iridium Spark Plugs
OBX 10.3MM Spark Plug Wires
MSD SCI ignition
Vortech 12:1 FMU
Turbo XS Boost Controller
Missing Link
Stock Exhaust
Automatic Trans
Autmeter Boost and Air/Fuel Gauges
Stock Injectors, Fuel Rail, Fuel pressure regualtor

open to any suggestions
thanks

7-8psi should be about right, I would watch your air-fuel gauge to see if you are running lean or not under a heavy load.

You simply cannot run that much boost on stock injectors, you will have to upgrade them if you want to make some real power.

you can run up to 10psi with stock internals. The Vortech FMU is the perfect ratio for stock injectors at 6psi. If you want to go the full 10 then you will need to retard timing 8-10 degrees, get a blow-off valve, get some DSM 450cc injectors and call vortech and order the proper recalibration kit for your FMU. They run like $40 shipped from Vortech.

I'm going to have to take issue with that. I have a friend who used to have a turboed Corolla, and he was able to run up to 15psi on stock injectors. He probably could have run more boost, but he threw a rod. I don't know how big Honda Injectors are, but the Corolla ones were around 165cc.

What will the proper recalibration kit do to my FMU? I have a blow off valve, I forgot to mention that. My main goal in the end is be at around 200hp. If I got DSM injectors, would I still have to slow the pulse down if I retarded the time? Does anyone have a 450cc injectors they would like to sell?

You can take issue to whatever you want, But I know for a fact that if you put a 150% duty cycle on a stock 240cc honda injector it will run lean anything over 9psi of boost. We have done lots turbokits using several differnt styles of fuel managment systems.

How much HP do you think your buddy had on his Turbo Corolla?
