If you blow your motor at 1psi your really a smacked ***. I don't understand why everyone's afraid of boost. Boost is like drugs, it takes a shitload to actually kill yourself. 8psi is nothing and you'll be fine as long as your smart about it.

Boost is a lot like drugs in the other sense, it's very, VERY addictive. Once you get a boosted motor you'll never want any N/A ---- again.

ha, tell me about it!! i could never go back to a regular single cam unless that bitch was turboed or going to be turboed!

---- for that matter i dont think i'd be happy with a basic b16/b18 swap either, now i need turbo's in all my cars

you'll be fine with 8 psi the thing you should worry about tunning and management. As long as you have that down your fine.

And boost is addictive. once it kicks in you want more

3 PSI is like the air pressure of sea level. If your not going to boost 6 PSI take it off and sell it. its not worth your time.
