how much is 1psi?
Does anyone know aproximatly how much I would have to lengthen the actuater rod to lower it 1-2psi? T-25 stock 8 psi.
I want to just add some washers between the mounting screws to make it longer.
Another Q, would I be ok on a ZC engine, turboedit, 450s, at 8 psi daily driven? I heard that zc rods are kinda weak so I think I should lower boost a little. Any input appreciated.

yeah bro, 8psi isnt a lot. plus, you are not going to be hitting 8psi constantly!
i run 9psi all day on my d16a6! you should be fine! zc rods are suppose to be a bit stronger than mine. why is every one scared of boost... :P

It's just cause I see alot of engines blow at like 6 psi. And my car is my daily commuter to school and work, plus I don't make much money being in college so it would be a very big hassle to blow my engine but I guess I'll just run 8psi.
Also, If I go to the track and run race gas, will that allow me to run at like 10psi safely? Thanks for the info guys.

trust me bro, my crx is my daily driver to work, school, and parties!! i dont have money to just throw in another motor either! people blow there ---- cuz they dont have it tuned right and probably are running way lean. if your gonna use the 450's you shouldnt stress it. remember, its only 8psi when your punching it which you wont be doing all the time. i spike to 10psi occasionally and i've never used race gas, just premium 91 octane. make sure timing is retarded and tune ups are done often and you shouldnt have to worry about your motor blowing any time soon.
you can still blow your motor at 1psi. tuning is key. just use the 6-8psi as a safety limit for stock internal failure.
besides, i think at that low of an adjustment (long rod) the wastegate would be really loose and might get a lot of lag. what we want is to have it shut tight then flip open at the boost you want. im sure theres a way..
