i pretty sure Frank (junkyard racer) had a nice little setup with his sidemount just infront of his passanger side tire, looked good from the pictures he posted.
i'll try and find them, if not shoot him a pm, and i'm sure he'll show you the picture.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but arn't you rebuilding your y8? Thought I read that in other posts, if you are, just chunk up a little extra and get the jrc budget core. $150 for a core w\end tanks is rediculously cheap, and you'll be so much happier with it.

 

I mounted my side mount from my talon right in front... where the AC used to be, looks like an ac condenser almost... you cant tell its an intercooler.. ill get pics up soon.
Comes straight out of the turbo and goes stright into the intercooler!

It worked fine for me. I should have run my IC pipe from the turbo to the IC differently, but it worked!
