With that MPH there's no way you should be in the 14's. I don't even know if its possible. The 2.2 60' means you were on track for a good run than you must have stopped and had a snack at the 330. I used to cross the line at 70mph (letting off) and still coasted across the line with a low *** 14. And your even in a lighter car so your times should be even faster at a lower mph

I have no idea what you could have done in order to get those times, its mind boggling

Definitely get your *** back to the track and run it again.

He also said that he lost traction in 2nd and 3rd, you can loose alot of time there too...I've seen people run a 2.0 60' and still loose it in the middle of the track and run a high 13...

If you have enough traction in 1st gear to pull a 2.2 you'll have enough traction for the 330 and 1000ft.

When is traction the worst...1st gear or 3rd gear?

Whatever you seem to know everything. So there is no sence to say anymore.

Besides the post was about the strenght of the oem dohc blocks and not 1/4 mile times. 98ctr

i think the amount of psi the sleeves can handle has already been established. If running stock internals run a max of 12psi on a good tune.

Just wanted to put my input if you trap speed is 112 mph, I think you might want to try some MT skinnies and also practice just driving. Thats easily a high 12 second 1/4 mile pass. It just takes practice...
