are you sure the stock dsm wastegate is set to ~8psi? i thought it was at 10-12psi? what year would have the gate at 8psi? I could save myself a lot of trouble and just use the one that came with the turbo if that is the case. I guess what i'm saying is does it matter from what year a t25 turbo one has as to what psi the wastegate is set at? |

I have the 14b and it runs 8 with spikes up to 12psi. just put it on and don’t worry about it. just make sure you have it tuned correctly. |

don’t really know. only did it once, it read .85 bar. now sometimes it goes up to .76 bar which is ~11psi. I really don’t know, I think its just my boost gauge but im not sure. I have one of those blitz dual turbo timer boost gauge. ill get it retuned sometime this week to see what im really running.

ahh ok. i'm planning on running a t25 on my setup, so i was just wondering if thats just what they do. i'll be using my v-afc as a boost gauge :l

The wastegates are 8.5psi. Stock DSM had an electronic solenoid that when the car was at operating temps they run 10-11psi.
