ZEXCOOL,

are you sure the stock dsm wastegate is set to ~8psi?

i thought it was at 10-12psi? what year would have the gate at 8psi? I could save myself a lot of trouble and just use the one that came with the turbo if that is the case.

I guess what i'm saying is does it matter from what year a t25 turbo one has as to what psi the wastegate is set at?

I have the 14b and it runs 8 with spikes up to 12psi. just put it on and don’t worry about it. just make sure you have it tuned correctly.

don’t really know. only did it once, it read .85 bar. now sometimes it goes up to .76 bar which is ~11psi. I really don’t know, I think its just my boost gauge but im not sure. I have one of those blitz dual turbo timer boost gauge. ill get it retuned sometime this week to see what im really running.

The wastegates are 8.5psi. Stock DSM had an electronic solenoid that when the car was at operating temps they run 10-11psi.
