Sell it and save yourself the light show.

Put it in the "actually usefull WBO2" fund.

so what color ?

i thought it was pointless w/out a wideband

Listen to what everyone is saying. An A/F guage that uses a stock narrowband sensor is worthless. Sell it and buy a wideband. However, if you really want that light to dance back and forth then here you go.

I'm not familiar with those colors on an O2 sensor (two blacks, a white, and a green are the sock colors), but connect a volt meter to the gray and black and find out which is positive. The two white are the heater. The car has to be running and semi warmed up for the O2 to start working. Or you could look in a helms and find the O2 signal wire color (green or white) and see which one it is connected to on the O2 plug.

Mine was white

You can pretty much hook it up to any wire you find. The outcome will be the same. USELESS.

Re: how to install air\fuel ratio gauge?? (pic inside)

hook it up to the ecu ;)

it's usually a white wire, and is a thicker gauge than the others

Re: how to install air\fuel ratio gauge?? (pic inside)

solder all three wires to a steel garbage can, and set it inside gently.

Re: how to install air\fuel ratio gauge?? (pic inside)

yeah its the white wire...... tru with the wideband though. Swith it with a AEM eugo, thats what im doing.

BTW.... how would you install a wideband o2 in place of your narrowband o2 so that your ecu is reading it also?

ROFLMFAOLOL! I don't know why I thought that was so funny but hey, it is as about as useful as a narrowband O2 gauge.

Most WBO2 sensors have a 0-1v output. Just put that wire to where the normal 0-1v from where the narrowband o2 would be. my english not good just woke up

Re: how to install air\fuel ratio gauge?? (pic inside)

actually, i believe innovative sells a kit (the lc-1 i belive) and it's some sort of wire and a wideband O2 and supposivly it's supposed to enable your narrowband gauge (some autometer ones i thinik) to read wideband. I may just be a crackhead, but i don't have the time to look it up right now.

i thougt most widebands had a narrow band output

o2 sensor? whats that? just disable it in your bin and call it a day!!!

you weld in an EXTRA o2 bung and run the aem wideband to it(SINCE IT COMES WITH A SEPERATE O2)
the stock one stays in it's place............

the wideband is completely seperate from the stock o2 sensor..... if your going to go with the aem wideband ... you should probably know how it works, and what it is capable of...........FIRST........

Re: how to install air\fuel ratio gauge?? (pic inside)

so basically leave stock o2 alone, and just use aem wideband for tuning?
sounds easier than messing with a bunch of wires.....to me

ya much easier.... but you will still have to find a power and ground ... then run the o2 sensors wiring through the firewall................. into the SEPERATE BUNG..... that you just welded in .... there will be specific instructions on mounting location .... angle...... distance from the turbo ....

Good luck !

bla bla bla!

and still dont get any answer

i hoot it up to the white and dont see noting

so i hook it up to green and its work but no move at all

its a autometer gauge (ultralite)

what he hell i need to do!?!?!?!

i whouldnt set it in a dumpster gently. id slam dunk it.
what you need is one of thesehttp://www.plxdevices.com/M-250PlugA...Unit_Small.jpg
plx m-250 ..cheap and efective

now its work white!
and ---- off not evrey one have $$ for the ------- wideband!

some one want to give me for free?

shipped it out!

and answer and dont get something from the topic! :1

speak english much?

Wideband is cheaper than replacement engines and many times cheaper than a dyno session. At HMT, lots of setups are cheap and ghetto but some things you just can't cut corners on.

I bought the LC-1 on ebay for 140 shipped....if you don't have 140 dollars you shouldn't be turboing your car.

It has 2 analog outputs, you can use one with your narrowband gauge to make it actually useful.

If you want to find out which wire you need to use, then unplug the sensor, start the car, get under it with a voltmeter, and test the wires coming from the sensor, the one that's outputting a voltage is the signal wire....

not only that .... but this person just doesn't seem to get that this gauge is 1000000000000% useless....... like I mean 1000000000000000000000%

so dumb ..... and a wideband is something you CAN NOT GO WITHOUT.... let me know when she blows..... then we'll see if you can AFFORD a new motor......... and turboing is NOT cheap.... sure some people do junkyard kits... thats completely fine .... 100% but those people with the junker kits STILL HAVE HONDATA AND A WIDEBAND ............. FOR FUCKS SAKE...

i agree...ive been using a narrowband (stock) with the lightshow guage, but its at least giving me some kind of indication weather or not im running too lean. saving up for wideband :y

Do you really beleive that? I hope not.

It is about as useful as the stock temp gauge. The needle doesn't move even when the temp sweeps over 20o, same kinda deal with that A/F
