Default How hard to change the Sleeve, Rods, Pistons on a JDM B16a?

I was wondering how hard is it to change the sleeves, pistons, rods on the JDM B16a? Can i do it myself or do i have to bring it to a mechanic or machine shop?

Pistons and rods can be done by yourself.. its pretty easy, just stick with a stock bore size piston and get a ball/uni hone to do up the cylinders, do all your meausrements ring end gap, etc. And you should be fine. If you want to "RE-SLEEVE" the block, your best sending that to a machine shop. Most local machine shops probably cant do it, I know of only one in our state that does honda re-sleeving. Best sending it off to a company like GE/AEBS/Benson/Dart/RS etc etc. Then, they could do all the work for you, sleeve/deck/bore.
