how big is opening on oil restrictor
I'm running a -4an line straight to my t3/t4 and I need a restrictor. Im gonna make one out of 1/8 npt coupler and female part. Im gonna weld it solid through the coupler and then drill out the right size of restriction. I've read that .055-.065 is where it should be. What would be the conversion for standard or metric drill bits??

It's only 4 months old and non-bb, but I can see where oil is starting to coke on the exhaust side where you clock the turbo. It looks like oil is starting to push past the seals.

I personally took my fitting that had a .171" size openning, bashed it a few times with a small mallet until the hole was pretty much closed and redrilled it with a .050" drill (7/64th I believe)
Got rid of my turbo smoking
This was from running on a d16a6 with 70+psi through a -4 line, my new turbo just didnt like it and smoked, i closed the fitting and it stopped smoking
BTW- I didnt use a "restrcitor", I simlpy bashed in the fittng that connects to the turbo
Pretty dam easy, and your snail doesnt need a heck of a lot of pressure to keep cool, probably 12-18psi
