Anyone ever seen someone uses black hoses instead of charge piping? I saw a guy with it setup like that, he said they dont get as hot as the charge piping over time...which makes me wonder if I can just pick up some heavy duty hoses from home depot and toss them in there...lol

 

Go for it man! Why not get some boost hoses from other turbo cars in a scrap yard.

 

For shorter pieces, I've gone to advance auto and looked through all their radiator hoses. There's all different shapes/bends and sizes there. I found a perfect bent one from my turbo to my IC.

 

I have used pvc piping before painted black, held just fine for 6 months.

Theres a lot of pressure that goes through those hoses, might as well just go for a pvc pipe build and call it a day

 

why does everyone try to get around metal charge pipes? its the best way and is one of the cheapest parts of a turbo setup

 

PVC FTW!!!!!!! held enough pressure to blow the hell outta my bottom end!
