Default Hood Clearance Issues??

I recently picked up a civic hatch with a B18 Turbo and the guy had to move unexpectedly and had this turbo lying around. The only problem is it didn't clear the hood so he cut a hole threw the hood. My question is, what turbo will clear the hood or do I need to buy an aftermarket hood? The current Garrett turbo a/r ratios are the same as a GT45 so it is a rather large turbo I am assuming. Anyways, I included a pic below and hopefully I will be able to add more once I get them uploaded.

get one of them plastic hood vents from canadian tire to cover it up.. your cheapest bet.. btw... where is your radiator?

there is way too much clearance issues with that motor, header and turbo mix for that civ

Wow, I come on here with a simple question and get a smarta$$ response from you. Apparently you don't know enough to give an intelligent answer and try to bluff your way threw it. Next time just use the mouse instead of your keyboard, you will sound smarter that way. As far as the engine blowing, whatever. Its not stock but I guess you already knew that since your some kind of engine psychic.

Yeah, I was thinking about molding a fiberglass thing similar to the eclipse hood. Id rather change the turbo because the ghetto adapter to the downpipe isn't really my cup or tea. It still has the stock civic radiator which surprising enough cools the engine rather well. Unless, it is 100F+ outside then it starts getting temperamental. This isn't my daily driver so it rarely sees high temps, mostly night cruising. Yeah, the clearance issues are a first for me. The previous owner had a turbo on here that would clear but that was with a different header/downpipe combo.

that thing looks like it combines like 5 turbo kits. that 2.25" dp to 3" dp looks classy so does the rusty core support. but hey i hope you got a good deal. ooh btw what kind of fuel management does it have

Did you not read the post right above this one talking about the ghetto adapter not being my cup of tea. In other words, I like a cleaner setup. It is an adapter that was made rather quick to accomadate this turbo and the guy said he would change the turbo so the downpipe could be setup like it is supposed to be. Man do you guys like to help or just talk smack. Because I am pretty sure my car has just as much of the good stuff as your 92 hatch, I just have to get some of the bugs worked out. It is an incomplete project that I am trying to finish. I never said it was a show car but hopefully it will get there soon enough but I guess everyone else never has to fix anything on their cars to make them showroom quality considering Honda produces these cars with all these mods from the factory. I am not trying to start a war with anyone but when I ask about a turbo fitting or a hood clearing and I get a response talking about my core support and my car blowing up. Then, it seems to me that you guys are full of yourself and that is the reason people get out of the scene. 5 turbo kits you say? Seriously, you had no intentions to help during your post because if you reread your post there isn't one thing pertaining to my original post with a legitimate question. I am running HondaData for fuel management. If you are sincerely interested in helping me with this then please take it to PM because I can foresee this thread going to crap if it hasn't already. I am interested in what turbo you are running on your 2.0l hatch. If you do decide to help I will give you a full list of mods in PM to help you help me with a turbo selection.
