once again, its not about making power you dumbass.
Its main purpose is to LOWER INTAKE TEMPS. it doesnt always result in a gain of power. Lower intake temps are always good.

I've resused my a bunch of times. the oem ones always rip when you try to take them off. or sicks to the IM or head. at $60 for the hondata one, is worth it.

i doubt a racecar would heatsoak a IM likw my car would driving around in traffic. it makes 1 run down the strip then shuts off.
they are reusable so if you have your IM off a few times then they basically pay forthemselves and as a bonus they DO lower your intake temps. if this actually makes power in your engine is a totally different thing.
IMHO i would imagine a turbo car intake temps would actually be more important than a NA car since temps under boost are always higher then the ambient air.
