Re:Honda Fuel Pump Stats...
So you're flowing more from your pump, but regulating it down at the pressure regulator, doens't that pressure back build on your fuel pump and damage it?
I had a Prelure that I damaged the fuel pump in when I raised my fp to 70psi. I didn't know what I was doing, I just cranked it up.. anyway, it blew the fuel pump. Wouldn't that do the same thing here?
I see what you're saying though, flow more, restrict at the FPR, then as boost increases, the FMU will compensate by raising the rate of flow. Since your pump is already pumping out more than enough amounts, there will be enough fuel, and it won't lean out. (Provided everything is set up correctly.) I think I get it.. except for my current question, won't that back build damage the fuel pump?

Re:Honda Fuel Pump Stats...
wtf are you guys talking about.. lol
if you use a larger pump, all the extra fuel goes right through the fuel return system. A 255lph fuel pump doesnt change the pressure at the fuel rail, The stock regulator still works normally. The car wont run rich either.
I used a 255lph intake pump for over a year on my daily drive with a stock regulator.

Re:Honda Fuel Pump Stats...
if your stock regulator cannot flow enough your pressure will go up....
i dont know if its any worse with inline pumps or intank pumps cause its never happened to me. i just know what other people have said (ie there pressure went up when they added the pump)

Jeff -
What are we talking about?! Hahah, your gues is as good as mine. I'm just trying to figure out what to do with my fuel system. Hahaha..
As we speak, I still have the DPFI on this Civic. I'm *probably* going to port it to the MPFI from my old Civic to this one before I mount the turbo. So I'm still in a quandry about this fuel system setup.
When I was running nitrous, the NMU regulated fuel pressure. So.. I'm learning.
Anyway, I have decided, for now, to go with just an FMU on my stock pump running about 6psi.. OK choice for now?
