spent some quality time w/ charles today at mainstream performance in powdersprings, ga (suburb of atl). i installed my new intercooler and changed oil while he was getting another car ready for me to tune. when i got his car done i finally spent some quality time on the sohc non-vtec homemadeturbo.

not too shabby from it's humble beginnings of 85-90whp bone stock. today was hot and humid...overall i'm pretty happy w/ the numbers. ordering traction bars next week.

i forgot to print out the graph...i'll post it up when i can get it from charles' computer.

now i gotta get off my a## and build it up for the other turbo and up to 22psi.

how much psi were you at?

 

it would spike to 12psi at the lower midrange and settle down towards 10psi from midrange to the topend. i need to get an ebc instead of my manual boost controller. i've never had much trouble with it not holding, but i couldn't keep it steady yesterday.

 

Any dyno plots you can post, i love y7 powerbands, especially their torque.

 

What intercooler did you install?
Is this still using the TD04 turbo?

 

i installed my anodized black jrc replacing my old starion. fills the mouth of the bumper perfectly and is way more subtle. this is still on the tdo4L/13g.

hopefully by tuesday...mainstream is closed mondays. i'll post it up as soon as i can get my hands on it. i was so tired from the heat and humidity i wasn't thinking of getting the printout.

 

Ya man those are som impressive numbers. Thats what im hoping my setup is around.
