Haven't got that far yet. I may trim the pipe down a bit too. ;)
|
Re: homemade fresh air intake
haha dont forget to throw a construction cone on that baby too.
|
Re: homemade fresh air intake
Hmm that may be sweet with a velocity stack.
|
Re: homemade fresh air intake
Beware of rocks
|
Re: homemade fresh air intake
Or low flying birds for that matter!
|
Re: homemade fresh air intake
maybe you make +1HP
|
Re: homemade fresh air intake
that'd still put him about 150-300 hp more than you :)
|
Re: homemade fresh air intake

NOOB with alot posts :1 |
Re: homemade fresh air intake
FYI screens only protect intakes from debris on the track, not on the street. My compressor can tell you how i know that.

Removing the filter i've been running was worth 8hp. |

Heeeeee, i'm a post -----. :)

Re: homemade fresh air intake
I hoping to break 110 whp after switching back to a A6 cam. The big Crane cam did a number on the stock valvesprings, it won;t pull past 7100-7200 rpm in second gear now......
|
Re: homemade fresh air intake
I'm gonna guess 190hp on mine. Been running a used greddy kit for nearly five years.

Re: homemade fresh air intake
I like your shoes. and your "ram air" induction there, too bad theres a big nasty snail on the end of that pipe, could have taken advantage of that low pressure up front. ;D

Re: homemade fresh air intake
My buddy piped up a fresh air intake with a velocity stack out of the driver's side headlight. He says it helps, but what do you guys think? Does it really work that well?
