Re:homemade Flange material
Beats me, How wide? from each port? I dont know what size you are trying to determine?
I would go 1/2 thick and however long it needs to be. Just get a gasket as a templete to see the dimensions. Jeff |
Re:homemade Flange material
I got mine from geoff @ full-race.com for $60. Its 1/2" mild steel and looks perfect. Nothing like that pos the dropshop calls a head flange ;)

Re:homemade Flange material
If they turn out well, I'd be in for one as long as the price is reasonable.

Well that is a little more than I wanted to spend, but maybe he'll knock the price down a lil if I buy a few.. Thanks for the tip! -Henry |

Re:homemade Flange material
Dammit!
I want some D-series ones! Does anyone want to help out for a Group-Buy on D-series head flanges? Cheapturbo.com can make em, I just need to order 10 for them to write up a program for their CNC machine, after they do that, they'll have the program on file, and hopefully will be able to make them for whoever wants em after that... -Henry |
Re:homemade Flange material
Go start a group buy thingy in the classifieds, and find out how much it will cost. I am sure alot people would want D-Series Head Flanges, I want one.
