Glad to see my little ghetto EBC is helping out the community...

Also gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to see you swing your n00b hammer Joey.

Sorry, the more I get people trying to force me to tune K-series, the angrier I become.

That CRX is ------- sweet. Maj. Dick, hahahaha

I used a vacuum solenoid activated via a levered micro switch on the throttle body before. Floored was low boost, mashed into the carpet was high boost. In reality, it didnt work because Id get too excited and mash it into the carpet no matter what :1
If you're local to a pull-a-part style yard, grab the giant firewall mounted black box off a mid 80's carbed honda. The ones with ten miles of vacuum lines. There will be about 8 of those valves in there + all kinds of useful vacuum fittings and such.

Eh, he *did* posts some pics of the cage in his car for me a while back, for which I am greatly appreciative. He's really a good n00b, down deep, and I was legitimately angry from having to tune K-series.

I haven't touched one of the drive by wire cars yet. The '05 EP3 didn't have it.

I can't say I cared for either the Scioin tC or Hyundai Azera, both of which has drive by wire, that I've driven. They are *easy* to drive in regular traffic, but I wouldn't call them good to drive or controllable.

Last summer this guy that had a class with me wanted me to check out a problem with his audi. He was complaining that he'd floor the gas and then would have to wait la second to take off. Turn out It was drive by wire and the litle motor that opened the throttlebody would just take forever to open it all the way up. It makes no sense to me why add useless parts and make things over complicated. All drive by wire does is take the direct feel of driving a car away and adds twice the things that can go wrong.

I'm all for computers and robots taking over the world,

but I like to have a mechanical linkage for steering and throttle at the very least.
