XDEep is onto something... tranny line aka rubber hydraulic hose will work fine. As was mentioned earlier, check the site's articles and featured builds - I remember Jeff using some with barb fittings and hose clamps on a build. Just be very careful how you route it so it doesn't rub through the hose and it should last a few good years. I have some with -4 AN fittings on it, with a foot of Earl's Flameguard sleeve for near the turbo to replace my hard steel line with.

Personally, I go to a place called "Asheville Hose" for all my braided steel oil lines (or rubber like I got). 1 foot braided steel -4 AN, 3 foot braided steel -4 AN, Tee, modified Homeboy Depot A-79 1/8" NPT to 1/4" flare adapters (walk the seat back from 45 degrees to 37 degrees on a mini-lathe) and Sunpro oil fitting for the back of the block set Atlee back $45. The two -4 AN braided steel lines were $35 of that. Check your phone book for industrial hose suppliers, this stuff is silly cheap.

4ft for 35$? including the fittings i assume. now just how cheap is cheap? and how much is good heat reflecting wrap? i dont think my foil will be able to cut it. unless i try that thicker turkey pan thing heh

dont bother checking ss braided lines for plumbing, they cost about the same as aftermarket ones- $3/ft. however i did notice those ribbed metal ones for gas, or the water heater copper ones. didnt bother asking how much tho..
