HMT Worthy IC Sprayer

HMT Worthy IC Sprayer
Well i got really bored tonight, and had all the parts on hand to make a home made IC sprayer. I got all the parts of my friends (kslice8 eclipse he uses for parts. I took a overflow tank, drilled a hole in big enough to fit the pump and took RTV silcone to hold the pump in. Right now its drying with duct tape over it to hold it in place. after the silcone dries Jb weld will go over it just to make sure it don't leak. The sprayers i have are just the windsheild sprayers from the eclipse. Not the misting kind but i'll change that once i find a car with misting sprayers. BTW i know its been done before and shown on here, but i thought this was HMT worthy
Its not on yet, because I am not boosted yet but should be withing the next 2 months. I just got really bored and wanted to make one

I'm proud you finally did something ghetto, you would have yelled at me if I made that and said I did it the wrong way or some ----, How are you going to wire it though, we can test it out on my car if my fmic is'nt here before the 17th on the interheater.

If you're going to do an intercooler sprayer, you might as well spray all of it into the engine for water injection, or spray both. (I do both, you might as well!) Seriously tho, you've gone to this much trouble all ready, you might as well put some water where it'll have the largest positive effect -> in the engine.
Good rules to water injection:
No methanol Aluminum + Methanol =heavy corrosion. Use ethyl alcohol instead.
15% & 25% water to water+fuel mass has the biggest effect platues.
I would use some cold start injectors on the intercooler. They're like $2 on ebay. They open by solenoid, so water will not leak out, and the pump will remained primed (If the injector isn't old & leaking). They provide good atomization. They have low flow rates, normally 100-200cc. A small supply will last a good while.
On the other hand.
You have to keep track of them using tap water, if they don't turn on often enough, they'll clog with diposites.

What if you got a brass bar or some brake hose and put small holes all over it to make it have a misting effect, or if you could find a way to get a lawn sprinkler nosel to work, I think I'll make one with all the extra time I have
