Phenolic spacer between intake mani and head.... not free, but do able. I think BMC makes them. polish intake mani and TB. makes heat reflective.

Your car is slow face it, just boost it or stop bitching. allmotor is weak and it owns you.

on preludeonline a guy dynoed his car, then did TB and IACV coolant bypass as well as EGR blockoff and he gained a solid 3-4 whp over most of the curve past 3500 rpm or so..

I used a very thin piece of tin material and cut it to block off the TB sensor and the EGR as well.. works fine.. same thickness of a coke can..

or you could always just get the power steering pulley machined to be lighter ::)

Ps dosent do ---- but slow the revs a little, Ive driven with ps on and off and the only difrence was noticed was a little quicker rev. Also its not a horsepower adder, how can it add horse power when it dosent do anything besides spin a light ass little wheel.Have you ever turned it by hand, its very easy to turn. I say if your a hardcore racer and want a extra edge, ditch ps and air.

quicker rev = faster car.

p/s works the hardest when turning?
1/4 in a straight line?

older cars with p/s rob horsepower. the newer p/s pumps arent that bad

my integra had no p/s but that was just to free up space in the compartment.

I agree.... I have a Saginaw power steering pump... and an A6 compressor on my ride. Total of at least 80 lbs and taking at least 12hp off when running. I don't plan on lightening my car. Just upping the Volumetric Efficiency.

There is really no magic switch you can flip that Honda didn't tell you about, and end up with 20hp to spare. You can get thrifty and start doing a million little things. But It is no fun on my old ears to ride in a unibody car with no insulation. The chicks don't dig it either.
