ok so i have everything on and it is not building boost properly?
d16a6. hf, t3 42/48, dsm smic, dsm bov, te.
so with an air filter on it doesnt build boost hits 0 and stays there, the bov opens and i here a little air come out but not that much.
with the air filter off it builds like 3 to 4 pounds of boost but it takes a while to do so.
i disabled the wg and it will build boost now but takes very long to so. ie. 2-3k 1-2lb of boost, 3-4k 3-4lb of boost, 4-5k 4-5 lb of boost. and so on up until about 7 lbs and i let off. in some of the higher gears it doesnt even reach this amount.

ok so i figure maybe boost creap? maybe i have a leak somewhere? i have the wg mounted off of the turbo it is attached to the block( this is do to the adapter plate i made stupid me) and i extended the arm with some allthread and seem real tight but maybe i dont have it tight enough and it is opening to soon, but why would i have mega boost creap when it is diabled??
i dont know any body have any suggestions it would be appreciated and if more info is needed let me know

are you sure no charge pipes are leaking? what kinda exhaust do you have?

thats a leak somewhere.. you shoud have 10 psi on that turbo by like 2800 rpms

as far as i can tell all the hose clamps are good and tight. my exhuast is a shitty as thrown together flexpipe/old exhuast kinda thing until i get money. so you think i should check for leaks in charge pipes? my intake is a y8 that use to have egr but i put a block off plate over the egr ports. could this cause my problems?
whats the best way to find a leak?

Go buy some adhesive spray, unclamp all of ur clamps, spray that adhesive spray between the pipes and the silicone clamps, and RETIGHTEN those SOBS's! Most likely a leak. Check everywhere for the stupid leak, even if u have to sit on top of the engine as someone is driving it down the road! (Oh yea, make a video of this too, so I can send it to Jack ***! No pun intended.)

hey thanks for the replys tomarrow i will go out there and i guess try and adjust the waste gate some more, and take all my charge pipes loose and make sure everything is making a good seal.hopefully its an easy fix

dont forget to check the wastgate, bOV, and manifold to block connections.

ok so i took all the charge pipes off and blew in them( i know i can only blow like 3 psi) but i figure since im not seeing any boost then if there was that big of a leak i would find it by doing this, well i found an injector o ring that was not sealing and a hose clamp loose. thats all i found. it seemed to help a little. but im still not seeing full boost untill like 5k. so i dont know, i cant see any visual exhuast leaks between the adapterplate and turbo or manifold. i havent taken the wg flap off to see if it is flush or warped or or i dont know. if you all have any other ideas please let me know i would greatly appreciate it.
