I've found a supplier for bearings that has ceramic as well as all kinds of other high temp componants they even list their applications for turbochargers. I'm waiting to hear back from them. The only thing is i might have to shave 1mm off of the shaft to get this to work. But if its done on a lathe i don't see it being a big deal.

so u found a bearnig supplier that has the right bearing to press fit into the housing.. i can beileve that.

this is definatly a home made project. lol we need some pics man.

the shaft has to be a press fit. i would suggest heating the bearing and freezing the shaft, because if u try to use a press u could bend the shaft.
