Default hks ssqv bov experience?

Anybody ever have one of these start leaking? Mine started leaking from in between the cover and the bov itself. Its the gasket the valve seats again. HKS WILL NOT sell that gasket, I offered $50 plus shipping and they said no. The gasket is a flat round gasket with an oring protruding out of one side for the valve to seat against. It has copper or something in the middle to make it solid. So I ordered a used one off ebay and paid to have it overnighted.... Just got it today and guess what? It leaks in the same place... The guy refunded my $ and told me to keep the bov. Now I have two that are useless and am paying for a brand new one as we speak, at least I'll have a warranty. I really enjoyed the sound of it..... Im currently trying to contact some knockoff companys to see if i can order their gaskets, since they are supposed to be interchangable. Maybe I can fix these two and make my money back.....

I have two real ones. At least Im pretty sure the 2nd one I got off ebay was real. I KNOW the first one I had was real, I got it from a real good friend who gave me everything with it, reciept, box, sticker, etc etc The shop I talked to today said those bovs had been having some problems..... I havent seen any knock-offs that bear the hks emblem, and in the correct spot at that. The one I got of ebay looked to be very old....

a real hks ssqv does not say "blow off valve" under the seal, it says "sequential bov" or "sequential",

I was reffering to it saying hks on the cover. Both of these bovs say sequential blow off valve on the valve. I have no doubt that at least the original one I had is geniune. gaskets leak, its a fact of life.....

shut up man, gaskets leak on fake items deffinately, a genuine product would be manufactured to seal properly... buy a new real one and your problems will be gone.

I have a real one, it leaks. Geez. I ran a pressure test on the intake system and the bov is steady blowing out air with more boost. When yours starts leaking just remember this thread

you'll know its leaking when you floor it and your boost only goes to 3psi when its set at 18, n you'll know its leaking when u floor it n let off to blow off, n it doesn't blow off, it just flutters or something
