Default HKS GT30R's in B16

Guys,
ihave recently purchased these two Garrett GT series turbos. One is of HKS which says GT3040-50t has a very huge compressor side with very bbig impelor and 6 fans , mouth of the turbo where we mount Filter is also very huge (as u can see in the pics. and the other one does not have anything on it apart from a plate in the middle which says GT30, its housing side says 0.70a/r and its neat and huge have 7 fans on the intake side. and its inducer on intake side is similar to the size of HKS turbo same is with exhust. so i suppose its the same but just not from HKS. seems to be ballbearing and with no shaftplay at all. HKS turbo's turbine housing seems to be a bit smaller as compared to the otherone. but fans size is the same.

now!! we will put one in my B16 which has this turbo

This totoya turbo will be replaced by any one of these. tell me which one should be the best fit and around how much horses would i be able to pull out on the same setup with a little bit of more tunning on 10psi

The other one would be installed in a H22 perlude.

Please recomend which is suits the best for which engine.

Here are the pics

Your external wastegate will be ------- loud ..with that size difference between the compressor and exhaust housings..nice chargers

ooo!! im looking forward to have very loud exterwastegates . i would got for atleast 38mm with a open dumppipe . dont know which one is better for H22 and which one suits B16. spool RPM and fullboost is still unknown, but im sure as these are ballbearings so they would spool fast fast as hell

you never mentionned the turbine a/r of the turbos.
This parameter will make the difference between suitable and completely out of wack.

compressor a/r is not a show stopper. it makes no big difference although higher a/r's like .70 are better for low boost.

gt30R is good for both the b16 and h22. use the larger turbine a/r on the h22.

maybe you can mix and match housing between turbos.

form the picts, it doesn'T look like the turbine wheels are very different. And that's what the guy says too.
