Default hi oil pressure help +**** and ***

so my setup is as follows,

y7 stock
z6 IM
H22 TB
hmt log mani
t3 .42 .48 saab turbo
hmt downpipe
3 inch exhaust
450cc black top dsm injectors
chipped p06 ecu by dave lee

anyways i installed a prosport boost gauge and oil pressure gauge today.
and when i start the car the oil pressure gauge shoots all the way to the limit and stays there. even when driving.
i installed the oil pressure sender unit on the sandwich plate by the filter.
stays at 100psi. is something wrong because from what i have read, its can range from 20-70psi.
maybe i should take it off the sandwich plate? what do you guys think.

Either your gauge is junk (possible), or your oil pump's pressure bypass is cloged up. Essentially its like a wastegate for your oil pressure. Once it hits ~60psi, it opens and dumps pumped oil back into the pan.

A typical Honda will do 70-95psi upon cold startup, then drop to >10psi at idle / 50psi at 3k+

You can pop the oil pan and access the spring, its facing down and uses an allen wrench. Take it out, clean it off, reinstall w/new washer if possible. You can also buy the spring and washer from Honda by themselves.

BTW that 3rd pic is awsome, MET FTW!
