I've got a gigantic Audi external WG on my HF manifold and its held for thousands of miles now... I don't think it'll be coming off anytime soon. We also double welded like above, inside and outside to help give it more strength.

I'd like you guys to post an update on how that paint holds up. I'd love to clean up my manifold... but I'm to cheap to send it out for real coatings

How did he weld it. If I were to ever turbo a d15/d16 it would be with an HF mani with external gate just like that!!

im seeing quiet a diff in quality however......b20accords is much cleaner but im sure they both work perfect for a cheap set up.

his jdm black paint will burn off in 1 boost run and look just like mine. I personally like it hanging off the side better

 

we will find out. If it does its no problem. The paint is suppose to be good for 1500 degrees.
