hf manifold
okay well i am new to the turbo world. basically and i will be picking up a hf/standard manifold of a crx here this week sometime. but yet i dont know what turbo adaptor plate ect i should run.currently there isn't nothing really major done to my car and thats how i would like to keep it untill i buy and build a d16z6. because current motor is a d15b7 i know they cant hold much at most around 200 or so is said to be the most they can have and thats all i'm looking for on current block. but i would like to have closer to 300 hp when i get my z6 built and turboed well im asking what stuff do i need to get me to around 200 or so on the hf manifold and will it work for power goals of the future.

Re: hf manifold
turbo the d15b7 and don't look back. and read the stickies man. everything you'll need to know is on this website SOMEWHERE all you have to do is search search search. GL on the build. I learned everything I know about turdboing the honda here. So you've found the right place. Oh and you're a flaming faggot :-*

Re: hf manifold
WTF? I'm not sure if this is even the question being asked (if any has been asked), but you'll usually want a T3-flanged adapter. All other turbos (in the USA) are usually more expensive (IHI, DSM, etc) for the same power, and closest dime-a-dozen turbo is a 14B which is 250whp fairly maxed out on a sohc. Unless you get an Evo or STi turbo at a great price (both will do over 300whp), get a T3. You can then use anything from a 200whp max 40trim T3 to a 600whp+ t3/t67ho turbo.

Thus you need to ask the dumb noob like question. Sorry this is homemadeturbo.com, not spoonfeedme.com; no one is going to give you all the answers you will need, only you can.

Re: hf manifold
Well if you already have your manifold you only need a couple more things.........!
1.TURBO 2.INTERCOOLER 3.DUMP VALVE 4.DOWNPIPE 5.INTERCOOLER PIPES 6.OIL LINES 7.INJECTORS 8.SOME FORM OF ENGINE MANAGEMENT 9.WASTEGATE (unless you get internal wastegate) 10.MISCELANIOUS, HOSES,GASKETS,CLAMPS 11.STAINLESS STEEL PLATE (for an adapter plate) 12.EVERYTHING ELSE I FORGOT TO MENTION! So basically you need a hell of a lot of ---- and it will probably cost a bit, but if you still want 200hp you will need items 1 to 12 not just a HF manifold!!! :6 |

1) Write ---- people can understand. Spend more then 5 seconds typing. Your girl might enjoy it that quick, but taking time to do some things can be a benefit. 2) Since what has been posted was obvious to you, follow number 1 above, and type out exactly what you are looking for. You got the response that your question merited. 3) Read |

P.s. when i mentioned the girlfriend thing i was refering to the amount of time you'll be out working on your car, not the amount of money you'll spend, but then again you'll probably end up paying someone to build your ---- for you. Rant over! Bought not built for the LOOOOOOOOSE!!!!!!! >:( |
