I pulled the valve cover off, this is cake for me because all the bolts but two are snapped apart on it ;) I need a new head :)

so how does pulling the valve cover off show you that the pistons arent pitted?

you can usually see carbon damage on the valve tips right? :)

Even if they are... car is still running perfect, theres no cracks in the cylinder walls (yet).
