i think 1 headgasket is good enough. atleast through my personal experience. if you want to feel safer, install 1 new OEM hg. i have the original hg on my 99' civic si w/65k miles boosting 11psi w/t3 .60 trim, vafc, front mount ic, and dsm 450s'. boosting for 2 months now.

yea but i got a D16a6 with 120xxx mi on it and the HG is leaking oil at the corner where the dizzy is at.. so im gonna replace it in the morning.. but i was just wanting to drop compression.. to 8-1 so im safe under heavy boost..

that compression is super low. and with your motor having higher milage it may have less compression than a new one. the b16 has like 10:1 compression and the d series has 9 to? i dunno but it's lower than the b. so i would just go with one gasket. i don't think your rods get weaker with higher millage, just my opinion.

with lower compression, especialy 8:1 you're gonna make alot less power.

as I said in your other post, I went through this Quest before, and I not a good answer from all the sources I went to. you will end up changing head gasket twice a month. just order one this head gasket, the make them up to 3mm thick if not mistaking...9.0.1 is good enough, if you go 8.0.1 you will have pretty much almost the same power you started with, before turbo, if you only planning to run 10 psi

LOL what about carbon build-up on the piston tops raising the compression
