welcome to owned rod bearings. been there done that. grab a new crank and bearings it's probably time for a whole new build

Crank is already fucked. Just take a look at the pictures in the middle of page 2 of my thread.

Attachment 10607 crank Attachment 10608 crank again Attachment 10609 rod bearings and caps Attachment 10610 Attachment 10611 Attachment 10612 oil pan + metal shards Attachment 10613 okay so heres the deal i dropped the oil pan and took off all the bearings...theyre fucked it know....ill get new ones....my crank shows no sign or scratches or wear...and also my number 4 pistons doesnt swing back and forth...do i need i new wrist pin?? when you bring the rod towards the exhaust side and release it the swing back to the intake side...all but number 4 swings...it just stays in the same spot where i left it.... |

Can't answer your wristpin question but just because the crank looks good doesn't mean it is. I would pull it and have a machine shop mic it for you.

That wrist pin has fucked the piston, as well. The pin is a LOT harder than the aluminum it's been binding against.
