the big i/c give you high pull due to car speed the little guy give you the low end due to less colling time for the air

WTF are you smoking over there?!? Must be some good-ass sheit... LoL.

A b20 is going to require a pretty decently sized turbocharger, a small 300zx turbo wont cut it, most factory turbos are not going to be big enough either. I would say the t-bird T3 60trim is also a bit on the small side, but will work. Especially later down the road if you want to put a vtec head on it, you will need a turbo that will support all the high rpm's that your motor will be spinning.

I think you need to be looking at the t3/t4 family turbos.
Or an incredibly large t3

vtec head would be next....

any idea on a sourcing a large t3? i thought the super 60 was the biggest or is there a 70

also like i said earlier the super 60 was about 70% at 7k i think so its not that bad... but your right if i went to 8 with a vtec head it would be out of the question.

going by compressor maps it looks like id be gettin in the area of 10 psi by 3k and at 7k id still be around 74% on the t3 super 60. i dont forget that non vtecs have about 80% VE compared to a vtec 90%. the second i rev to 8 with a vtec head though i would def need a t3/t4 57 trim which would put spool time to a bit over 4k but im guessin it would pull real hard all the way till redline. basically i could comprimise and get a t3/t4 57 trim with a .48 turbine that will be a tad to big now or i can continue to search for a magical super super t3.

remember im not looking for screaming top end.. i basically am loking fdor good top end with w whole lot of midrange.. kinda like a blower

On a different note: I can NOT remember what the 60 stands for on a Super 60 turbo. Is that the compressor trim size?

yeah its the trim... it has a .63 compressor and .48 turbine too. all the numbers get confusing hehe

just so you know, there is such a thing as a super 70 turbo also, maybe it would be more towards your needs. For the most part its a buick grandnational turbo. I've got a friend running one on his spirit. From what it sounds like, this may be the turbo for you...kind of hard to source them tho. Also, about the intercooler...starion intercoolers are okay...shoot, I'm boosting 20 pounds on one in my nissan 280zxt. But to be honest, an intercooler is one place you don't want to skimp on. The more efficient the intercooler, the happier you're going to be with the car. just my .02
