Help I need
Hi everyone, my name is Boris and I am from Croatia. Next weekend's drag race in the city river. I am new to the turbo and I need help.
The engine is a D15B7 with a 4 injectors, recently edited the head, and new rings I put. turbine is KKK K03, small, and we will see further, I think it shoud not go over 0,5-0,7 bar.
Currently, up 4 injectors 240ccm, everything else is stock.
i count somewhere around 160 - 180 horses, if it is feasible.
Please provide your opinion which would still need to do.
as a control fuel use Vortech FMU.
shoud i exchange injectors(i have another-dsm black top 450ccm),and fuel pump?
please help me because your forum is the last hope to finish this properly.

Show a picture of the turbo flange of that manifold, Let's see if it's setup for a K03.
This is not going to be a bolt it all on situation.

The red pants are coming! The red pants are coming!
1st pic. That goes to your boost controller, or any boost source. This includes the intake manifold, compressor outlet, or any charge pipe.
2nd pic. The barb goes to the intake manifold for a vacuum source. The outlet that looks like it needs a hose to go over it gets either nothing, a filter, or to be routed back into the intake. The bottom, you need to make a flange for that on one of your intercooler pipes.
3rd pic. The question mark can go to the park in pic 1 if you want to. The others look like water inlet and outlet.

Fuel injectors? Stock are really only good for stock hp. You can find a fuel injector calculator and find out what you need, or look on here and see what people use. Most use DSM 450cc injectors, but I don't know what would be easy to get where you are at.

You are running and FMU, which is pretty much the old school way of doing things. If you run an FMU, you will need to increase your fuel sending ability. You do this by using a larger fuel pump or an in-line fuel pump to help. If you put in the 450cc black top injectors with the stock ECU programing, your car will not run, foul the plugs bad, and not make for a happy situation. Really you should have your ECU chipped and programmed to run larger injectors (450cc Blue tops and resistor box) so you don't lean out under high RPM boost.
Seeing that you really only have an FMU set up, you need a bigger fuel pump or in-line pump to go that route. It will work, but run rich as hell and you will have no timing control.
Tuning is everything when boosting your engine. Timing and fuel are critical to making good power without killing your motor. Don't rush it or you will be looking for a new motor come race day. Hope this helps a bit.
