Just so you know, most racetracks dont take too kindly of you spraying your water all over their racing surface.

im not going to race a track.
just have fun when a sucky *** German car stops next to me..

anyway..

i suppose i have to use a diode witch wil stop the signal till lets say 4,4 volts. (4,5 volts is the WOT TPsignal)
then at WOT the diode wont stop the electricsignal, so the relay can be activated right?

and what do you guys think of my setup ? will the external WG cause boost creep?

Are you having problems with the ic heat soaking at idle? Otherwise to have it set up to only spray at WOT is damn near pointless. You arent going to see any gains unless your heatsoaking at idle, or the ic is already heat-soaked when you get into boost.

thats the whole point.

some say it wont work. some say it will.

i think depending on the temp outside the system will work better. lets say on a hot summer day.
when its finished im going for a dyno run, and then we will see the results.

if the ---- helps. it helps..
if it will help a little, it still helps.

i did one of these a few years back. it was a pump from a windshield washer bottle and a bottle from the dollar store, then ran some tube that i got from home depot and a T fitting. had them coming out through the intercooler and used 45* sprinkler nozzles. had it wired to a momentary push button switch. i'll try and find the post.

found it

https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...?topic=43418.0

but none of the pictures seem to work anymore

ebay preasure switch hooked to a injector near the TB
some 12v pump that can do 30 or so psi hooked up to it aswell
= water/ethonal injection

nice write up, tobad the pics dont work, i see some say it wont work, what are your experience?

@Zeniceguycrx :

so water injection uses a injector without some management for the injector? no pulse signal? constant open?, so ur actually only using the injecotor for its spraying pattern?

what will be the water consumption? like fill it up every 100 km?

u dont need the injection at 5 pounds or that, get a preasure switch off ebay for say 15 or 12 psi or so. It will only turn on when you hit high boost where it can be needed. u dont need it with low psi. plus you know it will turn on at a set psi so u can tune for it. you can also spray water, methonal, what ever u want.

but maybe put a resistor inline with the injector to lower the power to it

This is just an idea Iv been working on for a *** cheap water injection system.
Mine will be set up with methonal at 17psi so when ever te boost goes above 17 it will raise my octain.

you will just have to see how mutch u go through and keep a jug in the back of te car

and ys the injector is just to get a mist of spray so its not a hydro locker
