Default Help for a DIY Waterspray system

hi,

my car is a civic 4thgen d16z2
turbo with 36/42 came off a VW GTD (there is a T3 tag on it, but the flange is kinda different)
450cc dsm
DIY ramhorn manifold + external WG (spa raging series 38mm with an adjustable spring)
downpipe size 55mm (yeah it sucks *** !)
mid pipe is 60mm
ford transit IC
50mm chargepipes (hot side)
70mm chargepipes (coldside, i know it gives more turbo lagg, but im a cheap *** and the pipes are from aluminum)
fake greddy blowoff

im going for a dyno run soon, and before i let some1 dynotune my car, i want to build a waterspray system.
but i need some help...
basic plan is to have it only work at WOT so...

use the WOT Throttle posisiton signal... what volts??
use a relais, wired to a 12v water pump?

its probalby done before, but i cant find any topic about this shizz.

good ---- dude. Why not do water INJECTION instead? Does spray actually do anything?

Very little.

This topic has also been covered a number of times. It's just a 12VDC water pump, a container that holds the water, some line, something to spray the water, and a switch. You should be able to get everything you need minus the pump at a place like home depot. Ebay for the pump probably.

You can make a ghetto water spray system using a windshield washer motor with hoses and even the sprayer on the hood or you can remove that and put a spray nozzle from a paint can. I tried this but not on my car. Sprays pretty nice.

If you just want it a wot mount a switch at the throttle that gets hit by the throttle at wot (make it adjustable). You may want to us a micro switch and a relay set up. Micro switch will turn on the relay, the relay will turn on the motor.

http://www.chinasasun.com/english/mi...e_switches.htm micro switches.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relay you can find relays at a junk yard ( fan relay, horn, defrost )

http://www.r1200gs.info/howto/relay.html explains how to wire a relay in.

thanks for the replies guys.

im not going to use waterinjection because its harder.. (have a manage system that controls the water spray?)

waterspray on the IC is simple.
ill use the stock water reservoir for the windshieldwasher and the stock waterpump in the reservoir. (i noticed that i had 2 pumps..)
and an adjustable nozzle thats used for manual spraying plants. (i dont know the english word for it.. im dutch:P)
http://www.postproduktie.nl/img/deta...ntenspuit1.jpg

lets say, at WOT the TPS is 4,5 volts?
is that enough to trigger the relay? wich wil activate the waterpump..
i think il need an resistor?
