Default help!!!!

well i semi boosted my eg last night, i got everything put on all the bolts, fittings, piping, etc, etc. when i started the car and gave it a little test run there was no boost i was looking at the boost gauge and it went to zero the bov let out a little flutter but that was it. a few people said that there a leak some where but we checked we can't find a leak, can someone maybe help me out with this problem. i'll post pictures up when i get off of work. thanks

there is a leak somewhere seriously, either a coupler is ripped, came loose, maybe a shitty weld on your pipes is leaking, your bov may be stuck open, etc., etc., but it all boils down to a leak somewher between your turbo and your intake manifold. the flutter you heard was more than like compressor surge from the turbo just starting to spool up but not enough for the bov.

if it was an exhaust leak so bad to where he got no boost, he would definitely hear it, it would sound like open header if it was that bad.

well i think this might be the prob...feel free to correct me.
a few friends and i came to the conclusion that the wastegate flapper could be fhawked up a little. the turbo damn near sucked my hand in when we checked it ...how do i fix the flapper problem?

is the wastegate actuator arm loose? it should be snug. if it's threaded, you should be able to tighten it.
have you seen the inside of the housing to make sure the flapper has a flat surface and there is a ring showing it has sealed?

when you said a little run did you actually drive it or did you just rev it? you need to drive it...reving it won't necessarily boost.

we road tested it...well i pulled the turbo off today and we looked at it there seems to be nothing wrong...this is so stressing....what the hell could cause this ish to not spool up...one thing i did notice was that when taking the bolts off of the mani there where a few bolts not fully bolted on(wasn't my fault for that}would that cause my no boost issue.
