The bottom line is Maximum boost is an outdated waste of money and anything in that book can be found online for free.

Oh yeah, it's so outdated

It actually has a lot of good information in it. I guess turbocharging has changed a bunch since 1997

Don't roll yours eyes at me ***. Its a great book that shows how to install an FMU. And no absolutely nothing has changed since 1997. Just look at your average turbo Honda, the setups today look and perform exactly the same as they did in 1997.

It's a book about designing turbocharger systems, not necessarily tuning them. Obviously there have been huge breakthroughs in engine managment and the availability of parts, but the actual theory, design and fabrication has been the same since who knows when.

1997 is a bit more current than 1970, ***

see the bottom of this page for a picture of the engine bay (note pod filter now using proper clamps/piping and housed in a heatshield)

the engine bay is bigger just looks smallish due to the angle of the picture
when i said that intercooler determines boost, i ment safely running a boost level without damaging the engine
