The bigger T3s were on 2.3L 4 cyl in OEM applications. You want something larger-or two small T3s

for all of you who dont know the motor ill lay it out for you

3800
v90 config
single camshaft
redlines @ 5500rpm

125kw @ flywheel
around 90rwkw~
292nm torque

with a bit of tuning its already around
100rwkw
300nm torque

as for a t3 being a little small, im really not after a crazy boost setting just something along the lines of 6psi-9psi
i investigated supercharging but that would cost alot more, the reason i want 6psi-9psi is so that i dont have to use a intercooler/modified head

my cousin just threw a larger turbo on his R33 skyline (gts)
does anyone know what that turbo is? im pretty sure it was running @ 9psi on a 2.5L straight 6 engine

i'll definatly read up on it, hoping to do this setup for as cheaply as possible, thanks for all the help

i think its a t25 or t28? You could boost with 2xt25s or ihi rhb5s and that car will rip. For a single turbo setup get a T3 48/60 or a 60/63

how much roughly are the T25's? im looking for a budget setup, and the piping for 2xT25's / the turbo cost themself might be a bit much just to run anywhere from 6-9psi boost

could i get away with 9 with no intercooler?, i know that most turbo cars come running with 9psi, but im geussing they roll out of the factory setup for 9psi, where mine rolled out normally aspirated, ill look into it, thanks for the suggestions, it all helps

the T3 AR.60 looks like a good choice, not too bad pricing either, am i correct in saying its the turbo used in supra's? i think the 96 model

An intertcooler has nothing to do with how much boost you can run, it has to do with wether you are gonna blow up your engine or not

You should consider an intercooler. Read all the stickies on this site, LOTS of information is available at your fingertips. Post, and you will get flamed, and ultimately feel worthless. Read, and you will learn much!
