na, sorry wasn't to clear on where i put the heat wrap but its on the dp not the return. but... yeah it stoped smoking after about a day on there. but damn that ---- scared the ---- out of me i was having problems with oil leaks left and right and blew a turbo from it. but that heat wrap is doing the trick so i don't mind the smell

I just used 1800F ceramic insulation wrapped with stainless wire. Never smoked, and I got a guy at the dyno to sear the word "AiResearch" into his hand after a few pulls on the dyno. He didn't think the turbo was hot because he didn't think the wrap worked...lol
