Header wrap is going to smoke a while until it's broken in.. should quit after 30 minutes of at temp driving or so.

If it bursts into flames, something is wrong. :-)

I just used 1800F ceramic insulation wrapped with stainless wire. Never smoked, and I got a guy at the dyno to sear the word "AiResearch" into his hand after a few pulls on the dyno. He didn't think the turbo was hot because he didn't think the wrap worked...lol
