actually d-series are known to have head lifting issues, due to the fact that a. the bores sleeves shift, and b. the head studs are too small in dia. btw once you torque those head studs to 80lbs+(yes this includes arp) they are not resuable as tightening them this much brings them to their stretch limit and they will remain stretched, they loose elasticity.

read the HT thread and more importantly take heed to what jeff evans says, becuase he if pretty knowledgable.

D-series and bumping against the revlimiter = fucked pistons. I dunno why. B-series deals with it pretty well.

Well when your 19. The only other thing youve ever driven is a sohc zc on the bottle and you step up to a pretty built motor, fairly big turbo and 15psi in a tiny little itsy bitsy crx its a LARGE difference

having all that ---- going down is kinda scary lol

Obviously, based on my tune, im kinda glad I didnt rev it out yet

Tomorrow it gets a new windshield and shes back on the road for some testing
