Default Headgasket

I know a lot of you use OEM headgaskets, but how much boost can one w/ some copper spray hold uo to? I want to run 16-18 psi w/ ARP headstuds, but i'm not sure whether to get a cometic MLS or stick with the stock gasket. Has anyone ran that much boost with a stock headgasket, how did it handle it?

Thanks,
Mark

ive heard of people running upwards of 20psi on stock gaskets, they worked but then again they weren't daily drivers.

I've seen over 30psi on step decked, aebs studs, stock gasket + copper spray.

bottom line
MLS gaskets work good, even if it is the 3rd time around
